April showers bring May flowers. Following extraordinary, unnatural rains in April that flooded large parts of Hawaii and certainly downtown Waiohinu, the aquifers are full. April brought the Merry Monarch Hula Festival to Hilo, which shared the best of Hawaiian culture through mele(words), dance(hula) and dress. April 18 brought the union of Matt Castona and Alana Carter in a beautiful ceremony at Punalu’u Black Sand Beach. April 18 was the anniversary of a date over ten years ago. Their beautiful daughter, Layna, and I share the same birthday of December 19. It is the closest I will get to Al Pacino as I am the Godfather. We shall lean on God to guide, protect and bless this young family to navigate the waters of this life, so that they know the calm, peaceful, restful center of His presence, no matter the outside noise. Thank you as you bless them and support them in your prayers.

We will be having our Fifth Anniversary Spring Sale May 15 and 16 from 9am to 3pm, offering 25 types of citrus, 8 types of avocado, 3 types of mango and much, much more. Everything will be 20% off. “Laziness kills ambition. Ego kills growth. Anger kills wisdom. Anxiety kills action…. Ambition kills laziness. Growth kills ego. Wisdom kills anger. Action kills anxiety.” Dean Bokhari
“Though I do not believe that a plant will spring up where no seed has been, I have great faith in a seed. Convince me that you have a seed there, and I am prepared to expect wonders.” Henry David Thoreau
