Aloha Everyone!

We will be having our Winter Sale, February 13th & 14th from 9am to 3pm. Immediately following on the 14th at 3pm, we will celebrate with a Hawaiian blessing and BBQ Potluck. Join us in celebrating the garden together with Valentine’s Day. We would like to share with you information that has come to our attention from Garrett Carter. The Hawaii Department of Agriculture and Biosecurity (DAB) is distributing Micro-Grants of $5,000, provided you properly apply online by noon on February 19, 2026 and are selected. You may apply under Gardening, Livestock or Herding, and Apiary. The application requires a fixed amount of $5,000 with budgeted items. Below is what the application looks like.

Please be aware that the government requires a W-9, 1099-G, Release of Liability, Acknowledgement of a Duty to Report measurable outcomes with photographic evidence, obey all laws, and be subject to random audits and inspections by DAB.

Applications must be received online by noon on February 19. If you are approved, you will receive your funds after February 1, 2027. Please be aware of this when setting your budget, because prices continue to rise.
