Hosted Rental

The Log Cabin House is available for rent with all proceeds going to Maui people affected by the fires. It is a unique 2,008 square foot house made of only Alaskan Yellow Cedar set on a 6.5 acre farm overlooking the ocean. It is located near South Point on the Island of Hawaii, the Big Island. It is 40 miles to Hawaii Volcanoes National Park at Kilauea and 5 miles to the Kahuku branch, and close to Green Sand Beach, Punaluu Black Sand Beach and countless other beaches and attractions.

 

The 3 Bed/3 Bath home has a Great Room and 4 roof windows throughout the house. It has a Master Bedroom(King Size bed) and master bathroom with walk-in shower. One bedroom has a Queen Size bed and the other two Full Size beds on a bunk bed with a shared bathroom and Jacuzzi bath tub. The house comes with all amenities; refrigerator, gas oven/stove, dishwasher, washer and dryer. The kitchen circulates a kitchen island. Spices are included.

 

It is 1 and ½ hours from Kailua-Kona and Hilo. Fly into Kailua-Kona from the mainland, while Hilo services only inter-island flights presently. Kona offers Costco and Safeway, a good place to stock up on provisions.

 

The cost is $2,500 per night plus taxes and, with a week stay, the seventh night is free. Charges will be made the day before arrival. Check-in is 3pm and Check-out is 11am.
